Keep Calm and.... is my favorite phrase -- it has become my mantra -- the continuous reel in my head that plays over and over and over. In this job it is imperative -- between the barrage of calls that are a rollercoaster ride of sad, funny, rediculous, unbelievable and the list goes on and on... And then there's the unintelligible radio traffic from your officers (and irking the heck out them when you ask them to repeat what they've said and then you get irked cuz they are irked and so on...), personality clashes and just trying to balance your home life with this incredibly hectic work life... just, Keep Calm and.... do what it takes. dispatch on...
